Health insurance abroad

International health insurance is probably the most important travel insurance and a must for every holidaymaker. As the statutory health insurance does not usually offer sufficient protection abroad, you should take out additional cover. It covers medical costs incurred, whether inpatient or outpatient, as well as costs for medical repatriation if this is medically reasonable and justifiable.

The international health insurance is also available as an annual insurance. Here, any number of trips per year with a total duration of maximum 56 days per trip are insured.

Cancellation insurance

As the name suggests, this travel insurance covers you if you are unable to go on your holiday trip. Be it due to an acute illness, inoculation intolerance, pregnancy, a serious accident or death. Cancellation insurance is especially recommended if it is an expensive trip. In addition, we have separate cancellation insurance for hotels, seminars or tickets, as well as last-minute travel cancellation insurance.

Trip interruption insurance

Unfortunately, not everything always goes as planned on holiday, sometimes unforeseen events force an early departure. With the travel interruption insurance, not only the costs of the unclaimed service are covered, but also additional costs due to rebooking or additional travel costs. In our travel cancellation insurance, the travel interruption insurance is already integrated.

Work & Travel insurance

Even though this is not a classic holiday trip, it still falls into the category of holiday insurance. With a working holiday visa you have the opportunity to travel abroad and work. This is the best way to get to know the country and its people. In order to be able to enjoy your Work & Travel stay carefree, an international health insurance is recommended, since the German health insurances do not cover all costs and services occurring abroad. Travel liability insurance

Anyone who does not have personal liability insurance with worldwide coverage should definitely take out travel liability insurance for trips. The conclusion is possible until the day of departure. Even a minor inattention can cause personal injury, property damage or financial loss during a trip. This can lead to high claims for damages, which are then asserted against you. The benefits of travel liability insurance correspond to those of private liability insurance, they cover the costs, in the event of damage caused by you for the duration of the vacation trip.
The travel liability insurance cannot be booked individually, it can only be taken out in conjunction with the property package in the case of corresponding travel insurance policies. Our property package consists of liability and accident insurance. Optionally, a travel legal protection and a luggage insurance can be booked as well.

Legal expenses insurance

Not every legal protection insurance is valid abroad, but sometimes legal assistance is needed in foreign countries. The benefits correspond to a conventional legal protection insurance, only the scope includes foreign countries. The travel legal protection insurance cannot be booked separately, but only in the property package. The property package includes in addition to the legal protection insurance also the liability, accident, and an optional luggage insurance. Simply select the property package when purchasing online, but please note that this option is not available with our partners.

Luggage insurance

It is not always possible to keep an eye on luggage, above a certain size or weight it is stowed away in a separate place during a flight, bus or train journey, but also in the hotel it is often left unattended. Unfortunately, this occasionally leads to theft, damage to luggage or it being lost during the trip. Since many people understandably do not want to do without their camera, laptop or other valuable electronic devices on holiday, it is worthwhile to have travel luggage insurance. The baggage insurance provides compensation up to a maximum of € 3,000 per participant.

Travel accident insurance

Travel accident insurance is also included in our holiday insurance property package and basically works like private accident insurance. It provides financial compensation after accidents and also provides financial support in the event of disability, total disability or accidental death.
