Holiday Guarantee (Trip Cancellation Insurance):

• If you have to cancel your holiday during the trip due to an unexpected serious illness, we will refund your travel price (Within the first half (max. within the first 8 days) the complete travel price will be refunded, later a pro-rata refund of the unused services will be made).

You do not have to pay a deductible for all insured events with the exception of outpatient treatment. In this case, the deductible amounts to 20% of the reimbursable damage, but at least 25.00 EUR per insured person. You can only take out this insurance for trips booked a maximum of 30 days before the start of the trip.

• We recommend that you take out travel insurance on the day you book your trip. At the latest in the following three days.
• If your trip is at least 30 days in the future, the conclusion with us is possible up to 30 days before departure. However, only insured events that occur from the time the insurance is taken out are covered.
• If your trip takes place in 29 days or earlier, the travel protection must be concluded immediately, at the latest within the next three days.
• When you purchase annual travel protection, travel bookings made before you purchase coverage will be included in the coverage if your trip begins in 30 days or less. If travel commences within 29 days or less, Annual Travel Cancellation Insurance must be purchased within three days of the travel booking in order for the booking to be included in Annual Travel Protection.
