What travel insurance do I need as an au pair?

As an au pair abroad

Since German health insurances do not always cover all costs incurred abroad, an additional au pair health insurance is extremely important. With an insurance package tailored to your individual needs, you can enjoy your stay abroad without worries.

Additional insurance for au pairs: Property package

As additional insurance coverage for the stay in the host country, we recommend the conclusion of our property package. It includes liability insurance, accident insurance and legal protection insurance. This also covers damage to the host family's household, personal injury and property damage as well as accident benefits and help with legal aid. A luggage insurance can optionally be chosen to cover expensive luggage items such as smartphone or camera in case of loss or damage.

Note: Only the contents and wording of the insurance policy and the insurance conditions are legally binding.
