If you have to cancel your trip for an insured reason before the start of your trip, travel cancellation insurance protects you against the cancellation costs incurred when you cancel your trip. Travel interruption insurance protects you against high rebooking and other additional costs within the scope of the insurance conditions if you have to cancel your trip early. With travel cancellation insurance, you can choose between cover with an excess or without an excess. The excess is 20 % of the reimbursable costs.

Yes, insurance cover is provided for any absence from the place of residence as long as it is part of the trip - even for short stays abroad.
Whether repatriation is medically advisable and justifiable is decided by the insurer's consultant doctor in consultation with the local doctor providing treatment.
Yes, pain-relieving dental treatments and simple fillings (amalgam) as well as repairs to dentures are reimbursable, but only up to a maximum of €500 per insurance period.
For outpatient treatment, invoices must usually be paid first and then submitted. For inpatient stays, the insurer can issue a declaration of assumption of costs directly to the hospital.
In principle, persons up to the age of 75 are eligible for insurance.
